HAPPY PLACES

Holly Williams is a menswear fashion design graduate from Sheffield. Williams’ work entitled Happy Places is built around the ideals of the outdoors, how people can lose themselves within that space to transport them to their happy place. Having found that others also thought of their happy place to be outside in some way, she decided to use this through her work and let it guide her project. Throughout the covid period Williams began to appreciate the beauty in the calm that seemed to surround the outdoors and found that inspired her to develop a line that helps others utilise this by designing pieces of outerwear that are heavily functional. Growing up in the peaks Williams has love for the outdoors, having muses all around her and spending her childhood playing outside and exploring the space that she called home meant that she had a large understanding of outerwear and love for its memories. Williams would love to inspire more people at any age to seek out their happy place.
