La Familia

My chosen concept of exploration is the fundamental bond between a woman and her dog and the complexity of their relationship. They are a triad of being best friends, mother and offspring, but also lovers? The duality of the woman asserting her female dominance-leaving the people in question at a practical displacement of not knowing their hierarchy within the situation. The title for the collection is "La Familia", as it encapsulates this family unit, the husband, the wife and the dog, and brings the Mexican components of tradition and a cheeky contrast with an opposite reference to adult posters.
