Narcissism

Hi I'm ChlÖe, an experimental designer specialising in menswear and unisex fashion. I love using colour, texture and surrealism in my work. I aspire for my designs to be an extension of myself and to play with the idea of masculinity and femininity. These themes I explored in my Final Collection as well as personal themes like ballet which has inspired a lot of the femininity in my life. I looked into the surrealist work of Kawakubo and was inspired by Schiaparelli's hands, like an enveloping hug to my younger self. Some of my skills include Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator, industrial machine & overlock, hand sewing, pattern cutting & garment construction and fit for menswear, womenswear and unisex in tailoring and stretch fabrics, technical drawings & tech packs. I love illustration and have a newfound love for knitting. I have some experience in trend forecasting, identifying fabrics for upcoming seasons from customer predictions and popular themes from employment in a haberdashery.
