As an innovative and forward-thinking Fashion Design graduate specialising in creative pattern cutting and print, my collection entitled ‘Eton Mess’ explores stereotype theory within British culture articulated through functional design with a humorous tone. / Featuring warped silhouettes and jumbled prints born from Oxford University Trashing traditions, technical garment detailing and theories surrounding labelling from Formula 1 combined with a raucous and playful tone from the Brit’s abroad subculture, Eton Mess navigates the complex dichotomy of what it means to be British. / To note further achievements, I have been nominated and short-listed for prestigious competitions in San Francisco and the UK and my recent entry to design merchandise for Rock and Roll Icon Liam Gallagher was selected as the joint winning entry with the range being produced and sold by premium retailer Selfridges.
