Womenswear designer with focus on silhouette heavy collections, interested in working with leather and unconventional materials. Industry experience includes VETEMENTS and Berlin based designers Kasia Kucharska and SF1OG. Growing up with parents in fashion and industrial design, I developed an interest in various areas with fashion my preferred career path. 'Meereskreaturen' (German for sea-creatures) is a collection inspired by draping with scuba-diving equipment and shapes clothing take on underwater, which combine in garments that appear to deform the human silhouette, creating obscure non-human looking creatures. The focus lies in the intersection of structural elements coming away from the body together with creative pattern cutting. Primary materials include cow and calf skin leathers, and pieces made from copper, oxidised to attain a turquoise finish. Throughout the process each garment took on a name of a sea animal it most resembled, leading to the title 'Meereskreaturen'.
