I am a Womenswear designer interested in Haute Couture and RTW, having interned with Dutch designers Iris van Herpen and Ronald van der Kemp, where I mastered patternmaking and sewing skills, as well as refined my design aesthetic. My graduate collection entitled 'Béton Brut' is inspired by Brutalist architecture, Bauhaus and Minimalism. The core purpose of it is to showcase voluminous, geometric and exaggerated shapes that are transcribed into effortless wearable clothing which maintain shape through complex understructure garments that transform the clothing into ‘walking architecture’.
