The Second Skin

My collection explores the female sexual identity and how our clothing can be used to empower and express our sexuality. I’m interested in slowing down the supply chain, emphasising hand-made and ethically sourced materials. The collection features washable paper, Tencel fabrics and laser-cut wood. Inspired by the Scottish folk stories of the Selkie, my collection considers the sweet spot between hyper-femininity and sexual liberation, subverting classical representations of female oppression.
