Location: LONDON, UK
University/College: University of Westminster Specialisms: MENSWEAR / OUTERWEAR / TAILORING
Lottie Robinson is a London based designer who studied menswear at Westminster University and interned at Craig Green in placement year. For her inspiration in design, she likes looking at interesting characters in her life and creative narratives from their interests/upbringing. In the case of her final collection, her grandad, whos interesting background and life created a beautiful muse. The collection called 'The Fine' from the name of his sailboat, but also fitting to the character himself. She enjoys romanticising traditional menswear and highlighting the small but important details of tailoring and cut. Thinking about the character who will wear these clothes and adding personality through detail. Also designing menswear from a female perspective gives some femininity and softness to her collection. Perfecting fit and proportion are important to her process, as-well as organic fabrication, with the aim to make these men look beautiful.
